A Missions Moment........
Central is ready for flight!

Your Missions Committee has been putting money into a special account for several years hoping and praying to eventually use it for a missions trip. We think a good one has come up!
A group from Lauderdale U.M. Church and a representative from “Rice and Beans Ministries” out of Petal, Mississippi, have been going down periodically to Costa Rica for a 9 day trip helping to build churches.

We have enough money to partially fund the trip for 4 of our youth who must be at least 17 years of age. These persons must fund 1/3 of the price themselves and have “proven” their character in past years by their involvement in more local mission projects. The following youth were selected: Taylor Ivy, Thomas DeWeese, Patrick Futrell and Jessie Fortson. The trip will be July 12 - 20.
