Central’s support of this charitable fund is a true reflection of your strong commitment to Aldersgate Retirement Community. We couldn’t do our ministry without you and just want you to know how much the Sunday Fund means to Aldersgate. You are sharing God’s love of Christ through your gifts to the Sunday Fund and truly making a difference in the lives of these older adults who have nowhere else to turn for help.
The Mississippi Methodist Senior Services Sunday Fund is a charitable fund created to meet the needs of our Senior Services’ residents who have outlived their resources and need help. Specifically at Aldersgate, we use approximately $77,000 per year of Sunday Fund so our need is great, but we can always depend on Central to respond. It makes me so proud to be part of such a mission-minded church!!

In the past, we have always taken the Sunday Fund offering on Mother’s Day. This year we are going to take the Sunday Fund offering on Sunday, September 7, 2008 on Grandparents Day! At that time, you can make gifts to Sunday Fund in honor or memory of all our special grandparents or any special older persons in our lives. So please mark your calendars for Sunday Fund on Grandparents Day 2008!
