Central's Children's Ministry

The sole vision for our ministry at Central is to teach children about the never ending, all encompassing love of God and to enable them to claim that as the one thing in their life that would never change no matter what circumstance they found themselves in.
Our Curriculum
Sunday School -
Cokesbury’s Exploring Faith
For children 2 years old through Kindergarten.

Crosswalk "Where God and the World Meet"

For children 1st through 5th Grade

9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Sundays.

Crosswalk, our new Rotation Sunday School program, acknowledges the fact that we are all unique and learn differently.

Students learn about God’s love for them and how it applies to their daily life. This is done interactively in our art, drama, cinema, computer, and science and cooking labs.

Sunday Evenings
The Zone, Bible Drill
Purpose: Equip the children with the knowledge of the scriptures, rational and enablement of how to use their Bible in their spiritual walk. Done through music, games and Bible Study.

 

Wednesday Nite Live

Livin’ B.I.G.
Purpose: Life application. To learn how we use and
carry what we have learned both on Sunday morning
and evening into the world in daily life and ministry to
others.

God’s Critters

3 year olds - Kindergarten

Children learn to express their love for God through music, bells, and games.

Baby Bells/Preschool Choir

Baby Bells and Preschool choir (3 year to Kindergarten) are offered on Wednesday nights. Three and 4 year choirs are offered on Sunday mornings. Children participate in worship at various times throughout the church year, and present a Christmas program in December.

 

Children’s Choir

Children’s Choir (K - 5th Grade) is offered as a part of Sunday Night Programming. The children participate in worship and the Christmas program in December
