The season of Lent, a period of 40 days [not counting Sundays] that precedes Easter, begins with Ash Wednesday, February 17th. Lent calls us to examine our hearts and lives, to turn from those destructive habits and practices that infect us all, and to follow Jesus with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength. Following the meal in the Fellowship Hall on February 17th, you are invited to join us in the Sanctuary at 6:00 p.m. for a Service of Ashes.
