Missions/Outreach

Our mission at Central is "Offering Christ, Making Disciples." We do this, in part, by expanding our witness for Christ through outreach in our local community and through support of missions throughout the world.

During the last few years, the people of Central have paid for and physically built a house for Habitat for Humanity. We have also partnered with Poplar Springs Drive United Methodist Church to build a house.

Participation at Love’s Kitchen. Central has volunteers who work three mornings a month helping to prepare meals for people who otherwise would not get a hot meal. Contact Bobbye Lowry, 485-4548 to volunteer or for more information.

 Participation in Meals on Wheels. Volunteers serve as drivers to deliver meals to shut-ins in the community so that they may have at least one good meal each day. Contact Bobbye Lowry, 485-4548 to volunteer or for more information.
